When we tried to fit all of our guest favorite activities and attractions in Ohio’s Amish Country into one list, we soon realized that it couldn’t be done. After a fair amount of debate, we were able to pare our list down to only 10 choices and we still left off a number of fantastic options. 6. Farm at Walnut Creek

If you’re looking for fun for the whole family, Walnut Creek Farm is the place to go. This working farm is home to over 500 animals, including six different species from six of the seven continents. See horses, llamas, buffalo and deer, and even more exotic animals including giraffes, camels, zebras, and kangaroos. You can even hand-feed the animals from your own car or The Farm’s horse-drawn carriage ride. You can also get closer to some of the animals in their petting area.

7. Hatchet Club

Book a date at Sugarcreek’s premier axe-throwing club, and learn to throw a hatchet like a pro with help from their coaches. This is a perfect experience for couples or groups with a sense of adventure that want to do something a bit out of the ordinary.
